Plavis ESD

Plavis ESD is an antistatic grade of polyimide designed to prevent electrostatic discharge (ESD). It combines static protection with high thermal resistance (continuous use up to 300°C / 572°F) and superior mechanical properties, featuring a surface resistivity of 10⁶–10⁹ Ω/sq.

• Ideal for general ESD-sensitive handling in electronics
• Excellent machinability to tight tolerances and complex geometries; can be lapped to a mirror finish
• Low outgassing — one of the lowest rates of any plastic, even at 300°C
• High wear resistance and a stable coefficient of friction under high loads
• Retains mechanical strength at elevated temperatures
